The conference is organized by the Nordic-Baltic network for transdisciplinary food systems research (NFN) with an aim to strengthen transdisciplinary research between the countries.
The network is a collaborative initiative between the Finnish Environment Institute, University of Helsinki, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, University of Copenhagen, University of Bergen, University of Iceland, Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies funded by the Nordic Joint Committee for Agricultural and Food Research (NKJ).
