PhD Network: Connect, collaborate, and co-create
The NFN2025 will feature a PhD networking events to increase interdisciplinary exchange, networking and collaboration among PhD students from various disciplines working on the broad field of food system research within the Baltic and Nordic countries.
This is a unique opportunity for early-career food system researchers to network, exchange ideas, and find solutions for sustainable future food systems together. As part of the NFN 2025 Conference, we are hosting two exciting events:
- Creative Networking Session: A relaxed and creative gathering where Nordic and Baltic food system PhD researchers can meet and foster interdisciplinary dialogue. This session will be held on Monday, May 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Participants will receive a small pre-assignment prior to the event.
- Dinner with Brainstorming: Let’s discuss the future of the PhD Network over dinner! What kind of educational and networking activities do you need as an early-career food system researcher? How should we proceed? Let’s discuss and co-create our vision together. (The dinner is at own cost.)
