Are you looking for new research partners, fresh ideas or opportunities to develop your research further? Join the NKJ Matchmaking Event at the NJF Congress (Tartu, Estonia, 14-16 October) on 14 October and connect with researchers from across the Nordic and Baltic region.
The Matchmaking Event is designed to create new connections, spark ideas and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
During the event, you will:
- meet researchers interested in collaboration and joint initiatives
- exchange ideas and explore potential research partnerships
- get inspired by new perspectives and areas of expertise
- learn about the prerequisites and opportunities for applying for NKJ funding for Nordic-Baltic research networks in agriculture and food
The matchmaking workshop is particularly aimed at early-career researchers, but everyone interested in building new research connections is welcome to participate. NKJ wants to give the early-career researchers the opportunity to build a solid professional network with more experienced researchers!

Registration: Registration is required to secure your place. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Receive support to cover travel and conference expenses
NKJ offers early career researchers (PhD students and Postdocs) who participate at the matchmaking event up to 8 000 SEK to cover conference fee, travel and accommodation expenses. The support applies to early career researchers from Nordic or Baltic research organisations. To be granted, you need to register for the matchmaking event and tick the box stating that you wish to apply for the travel support. Selection of recipients will be done by lottery on September 28th.
